At least six people died and a dozen were missing after heavy rains lashed several districts of Kerala on Friday, causing flash floods and landslides. A red alert has was issued for Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur district, while an orange alert was put in seven other districts.
