Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah to get married today in Goa: Report
- Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan are reportedly set to hold a private, small ceremony in Goa
- Guests have asked not to carry their cellphones to ensure maximum privacy
- Japrit Bumrah was released earlier this month ahead of T20 series against England
Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is all set to tie the knot, and
will be doing so later on Monday in a private ceremony in Goa. Bumrah will be
marrying sports presenter and anchor Sanjana Ganesan in an event that will be
attended by close friends and family of the two. Pre-wedding rituals were
completed in Goa on Sunday.
A request has been made to guests to not even carry their cell
phones, due to the couple’s wish to keep the matter away from the limelight, as
per a report by Times Now.

Having been released earlier this month in the fourth and
fifth Test matches in the ongoing T20 U against England, Board of Cricket Control in
India (BCCI) had reportedly noted that the pacer had asked to be dropped off
for ‘personal reasons’.

Recently rumours intensified on social media that the fast
bowler would be marrying Ganesan, a former Miss India finalist and a television
anchor who covers the Indian Premier League (IPL), as well as working for the
Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament.

The India team members will not be present in the ceremony, due to restrictions being followed in the bio-bubble during the ongoing series.
