It all started when Star Sports shared an image of Dhoni, donning his ‘new avatar’ and asked what the Twitterati thought it was about.

Thickening the mystery further, the channel shared a video in which the ace cricketer says, “What is the ‘mantra’ behind this ‘avatar’? You’ll get to know soon.”
“Give us your best guess as to what this mantra is that he’s talking about,” Star Sports tweeted.
But far from guessing, Twitterati turned the image into rib-tickling memes.

Dhoni will next be seen in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will begin on April 9. He’ll lead the Chennai Super Kings. The final will be played on May 30.
