Sharon Osbourne opens up about ‘volatile’ relationship with husband Ozzy

Television personality Sharon Osbourne in a recent interview opened up about her “volatile” relationship with husband Ozzy Osbourne and said they used to “beat each other” about 20 years back.
Sharon and Ozzy first met in the 1970’s. They were first introduced to each other by Sharon’s father, who managed Ozzy’s band at the time. The couple tied the knot in 1982.

In an interview with Daily Mail on Tuesday, Sharon spoke about their relationship in the initial years of marriage and how it changed over the years.
“Our fights were, legendary. We would beat the s*** out of each other. It stopped, must be, 20 years ago, but we had a good run,” the 68-year-old told the outlet.

She said that a biopic about their lives is in the pipeline and that the movie will not only showcase their tumultuous relationship but also how they eventually came together.
“It’s a movie about Ozzy’s and my life, how we came together in the early days and our volatile relationship,” Sharon said. “All the fights, all the makeups, all the fights, all the arrests, all the everything. And it’s a love story.”
“People are going to watch it go, ‘This isn’t allowed. They shouldn’t behave that way and put it on film'”. But [we’re] only talking the truth. Some people have volatile relationships and ours was very volatile,” she told the outlet.
The former host of ‘The View‘ had previously revealed the her husband had once attempted to kill her while high on drugs.
“We’d had a couple of fights and you can tell it was building to something, you could just feel it,” she said in new documentary Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne.

The musician was arrested for attempted murder but she ultimately chose to stay married to him.
In 2016, the couple, who have three grown children together, faced a cheating scandal. Sharon found out that Ozzy was allegedly having an affair with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh. This led to them to split. But, they soon reconciled.
