1. Virat Kohli surpassed Mahela Jayawardene to become the highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup history.  Kohli now has 1064 runs in T20 World Cup history.

2. Kohli is now tied with legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar with the most man of the match awards in ICC limited-overs tournaments. Both of them has won it 10 times

3. The 33-year-old has scored the highest runs in this WC, 220 runs in four innings.

4. The former India skipper also has the best average this WC: 220. He has been not out three times out of the four innings he played here.

5. Kohli has the most runs, highest average and most 50+ scores in T20 World Cup history.

6. He also has the most fifties in the T20 World Cup, 23 half tons from 23 innings. The next best is nine fifties by both Rohit Sharma and Chris Gayle.

7. In the T20 World Cup, Kohli’s batting average of 88.75 is by far the highest of any player. 

8. In Australia, Virat Kohli eclipsed Tendulkar to become India’s top run scorer. He has now scored 3,350 runs at an average of 56.77 with 11 Hundreds and 18 Fifties.

9. Kohli also has the record of scoring the most runs against a single opponent in T20 WC history: 308 runs against Pakistan. He has hit four fifties in five innings he faced them, getting dismissed only once.
