‘Commando’ actor Vidyut Jammwal and fashion designer Nandita Mahtani announced their engagement on social media on Monday. The two posted pictures of Vidyut holding his beau’s hand and climbing a wall, tied to harnesses and the second one with them posing in front of the Taj Mahal.
Sharing the photos, he wrote, “Did it the COMMANDO way. 01/09/21.”

“Couldn’t keep him hanging any longer…said yes!!1-9-21,” Nandita captioned her post. She added a third picture in which they were seen posing next to a pool.

She was earlier married to Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapoor. However, their marriage was short-lived as the duo parted ways due to differences. Nandita was then in a relationship with Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor for a brief period. She also dated the model and actor Dino Morea for a long time before seperating ways in 2016.

Nandita Mahtani is known for designing and styling clothes of the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
In 1998, Nandita started her career as a fashion designer. She then decided to join her family business. Later, in 2000, Anu, her sister, launched her fashion label Ananya in London. This sparked her interest and also joined her sister’s venture.
In 2019, she collaborated with Cartoon Network to launch a clothing collection that Cartoon Network toons from the 1990s. It is reportedly said that the collection is inspired by characters such as The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter’s Laboratory , Courage the Cowardly Dog among others.
