Kamlesh Nagarkoti is one of India’s fastest bowlers coming through the age-group ranks. He is a right-hand batsman and a right-hand fast bowler. He can bowl at commendable speeds of more than 140 kmph over a long period of time.
Kamlesh Lachham Nagarkoti is an Indian cricket player. He was born on December 28, 1999, in Barmer, Rajasthan. In 2016-17 he made his List A debut for Rajasthan in Vijay Hazare Trophy. He took the first-ever hat-trick for Rajasthan against Gujrat.
He was named in India’s squad for the 2018 under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2018 IPL auction for Rs 3.2 crores. However, he couldn’t play due to injury concerns. Despite that, he remained with the team for the next season. Just before the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, he was ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury.
India won the 2022 World Cup finals by defeating Australia once more. Nagarkoti took two wickets and dismissed Australia’s U19 captain Jason Sangha in the final match on 3 February to lock the match for the Indian batters, as the team won the match and the tournament by 8 wickets.

Rahul Dravid was so taken with his raw pace that he personally monitored him and included him in the U-23 team for the Asia Cup 2023.
Nagarkoti was named in India’s squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. In September 2020, he made his Twenty20 debut for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2020 Indian Premier League.
Nagarkoti was named as one of four additional bowlers to accompany India’s cricket team on their tour to Australia on October 26, 2020. However, due to workload management issues, Nagarkoti was ruled out of the tour on November 9, 2020.

In the 2022 auction for the Indian Premier League, he was purchased by the Delhi Capitals. On February 24, 2022, he made his first-class debut for Rajasthan in the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy.
