‘Most Nithyananda thing ever’: Twitter in splits over Kailasa’s ‘presidential mandate’

Nithyananda, a self-styled godman, has issued an “executive order” banning Indians and people from the three other nations from entering the ‘divine nation’ of Kailasa in view of the surge in Covid cases.
The island nation, which claims to be the “nation without borders created by dispossessed Hindus from around the world who lost the right to practice Hinduism authentically in their own countries”, has said that it has banned entry of travellers from India, Brazil, the European Union and Malaysia.
The statement, put out on microblogging site Twitter, has left users in splits after reading the “Presidential Mandate”.
Several users retweeted the statement with memes and emojis.
Nithyananda, a rape accused, had escaped India in 2019. He has been hiding since then. He surfaced on social media with videos and tweets about his ‘Hindu sovereign nation’, Kailasa
The island off the coast of Ecuador has its own website which says, “Kailaasa is a nation without borders created by dispossessed Hindus from around the world who lost the right to practice Hinduism authentically in their own countries.”

The rape accused baba also launched his very own ‘Reserve Bank of Kailasa’ and the official currency of the island was declared to be ‘Kailashian dollars’.
