A video of a Spanish choreographer and diver’s underwater Tango performance is doing the rounds on social media. The dancer can be seen performing freestyle, 10 meters underwater, to ‘Tang’O,’ a three-minute film directed and produced by Frenchman Bastien Soleil.
Soliel posted a short clip on Instagram, saying, “Sometimes, art is doing something simply because we know it will be beautiful. With the combination of water, lighting, and dancer Ariadna’s talent, TANG’O offers the viewer an innovative take on underwater videography and art in general.”

The performer, Ariadna Hafez, is a Spanish choreographer and diver. According to Soleil’s post, the scenes were shot with no air assistance, and the cameraman and the dancer had to freedive 120 times to complete filming.
The video garnered more than 17,000 views and 1,200 likes.
