Fans want animal control to take Britney Spears’ pet dogs away after the pop star recently posted a video where she appeared to be dancing with huge knives.

In the video which she posted on Monday night, Spears danced with, jabbed, and even clanged knives together. As she twirled around with the sharp tools, three of her dogs looked at her in fear in the background. When she banged her knives together, the dogs ran for cover.

“Those poor dogs just ran scared they need to be rescued and she needs HELP,” one social media user wrote, while another commented, “Someone please save these puppies!!” One more said, “I’m now concerned about her having dogs let alone any animals after this video.”

Spears captioned the dancing video, “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today.” She later reiterated that they were fake Halloween props. According to TMZ, the way the knives clanked with each other, it was pretty clear that they were real knives.

One fan even pointed, saying, “The knives made clanking noises. They’re clearly real. Real enough to fall on and kill one of those poor worried pups.”

TMZ got in touch with Ventura County Animal Services who confirmed that they have not received any official complaints about Spears’ conduct. “We reviewed the video, and while the dogs appeared to be startled by the clinking of the knives, we didn’t feel they were in a situation where an officer needed to be dispatched,” a rep added.
