Baseball player Jackie Bradley Jr, who was a Boston Red Sox center fielder (CF), is set to join the Milwaukee Brewers, Boston Globe reported. The 30-year-old player is set to sign a $24 million two-year deal with the Brewers. However, the deal includes an opt-out after the first year, ESPN reported quoting sources.

After joining the Sox in 2011, Bradley has played all eight of his seasons with the Boston team.

The center fielder won a Gold Glove in 2018. The annual award is given to Major League Baseball players who exhibit superior individual fielding performances at each fielding position in both the National League and the American League.

Showing power with his bat, in the 2018 American League Championship Series with Houston, Bradley had a two-run homer and a grand slam. This helped him earn MVP honors for that series.

The CF was on $11 million, one-year deal with the Red Sox in 2020. The number, however, was prorated because of the shortened season.
