David Beckham to Apple: Who all are in talks to buy Manchester United from the Glazers

British soccer superstar and former player at Manchester United, David Beckham has spoken out about the changes that the club needs after a potential change of hands at the top. While Bechkam is not capable of buying the club outright, as reported by mirror.

In the meanwhile, California-based tech giant Apple has also shown interest in buying Manchester United from fellow US company Glazers. The reports came after talks of United being ready for a sale surfaced on Tuesday night. In an official statement, Glazers said they were “exploring strategic opportunities” for the club.

Manchester United have been in the news for over a week after Cristiano Ronaldo gave a devilishly provocative interview to British media personality Piers Morgan against the club and its manager Erik Ten Hag. After the interview, it was reported officially on November 22 that Ronaldo would leave Manchester United for a second time.

Initially, Glazers were hoping for a 8.28 billion pound sale-out of the club. While the whopping sum might not turn into reality, there are big chances that a deal of around 6 billion pounds might materialize after Apple and even Spanish billionaire and the 19th richest person in the world, Armanico Otega (86), showed interest in the club.

As per a report by Daily Mail, Apple seems interested in a 5.8 billion pound buy-out of Manchester United from Glazers. The silicon valley tech giants do no have previous experience of having owned a sports team but the deal, if it materializes around the expected rates, will eclipse the 4.25 billion pound purchase of EPL side Chelsea earlier this year by Boehley and his associates.

While it is almost assured that Manchester United will be owned by a company other than Glazers in a short while, the long impending issue of rebuilding Old Trafford, Manchester United’s home ground since 1910. Reportedly the rebuilding of the stadium is bound to cost 1.5 billion pounds, which will overtake Tottenham Hotspur’s1 billion pound stadium built in 2019. Glazers will be involved in several business transactions with several companies in the next month over the potential sale of MAnchester United which they acquired in 2005.
