ICC T20 World Cup: Check groups, full schedule and other details
- The ICC Men's T20 World Cup is set to commence on October 17
- The tournament will be held in Oman and UAE
- India's opening fixture will be against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium
The Indian
Premier League has concluded with Chennai Super Kings being crowned champions
of the tournament’s fourteenth edition. This means, all the focus will now
shift to the ICC T20 World Cup set to begin on October 17 in UAE and Oman. A
total of 45 games will be played in the competition.

The
cricketing body has divided the sixteen teams into four groups. Two of these
groups are qualification groups (Group A and Group B) while the remaining two
are the Super 12s (Group 1 and Group 2)
Group A
consists of Sri Lanka National Cricket Team, Ireland National
Cricket Team, The Netherlands National Cricket Team and Namibia
National Cricket Team.

Group B consists of Bangladesh National Cricket Team, Scotland
National Cricket Team, Papua New Guinea National Cricket Team and Oman National
Cricket Team.
Group 1 consists of England National Cricket Team, Australia National
Cricket Team, South Africa National Cricket Team, West Indies National Cricket
Team, A1 and B2.
