New York Giants’ running back Saquon Barkley rushed past four Green Bay Packers defenders in the second quarter of his side’s Week 5 game in London. The Giants trailed 10-17 at the end of the first half. The game is played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The play happened when Giants’ offensive line gave a direct snap to the running back who rushed for 40-yards inside the Packers’ 40-yard line.

The Giants have had a fairly better run game in the first half than their opposition. They have 63 rushing yards to Packers’ 53 while are way behind in terms of passing yards with just 77 to opponent’s 143 yards.
Saquon Barkley has been one of the front runners for NFL‘s Offensive Player of the year as he leads the league with 463 rushing yards in 84 carry attempts and is tied at the ninth spot in rushing touchdowns. His best game of the season came against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1. The team won the game 21-20 thanks to his 18 carries for 164 yards and a touchdown.

He has featured in all four of his previous games in the current season and helped them to a 3-1 start to the campaign. Giants are currently third in the NFC East, behind second-place Dallas Cowboys who have a similar record. Their group toppers are Philadelphia Eagles who are yet to lose a game this season and boast a 4-0 record.
New York Giants are off to a rare flying start, beginning the season with back-to-back wins against the Titans and Carolina Panthers, before dropping to Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. They bounced back to claim a fairly one-sided game at home versus the Chicago Bears.
The team is ranked number 1 in rushing yards per game with an average of 192.5 yards per game. They are followed at a close second by Cleveland Browns, who rush the football for 187.3 yards per game.
