Kincaid’s journey to football stardom has been an unconventional one. He played just one year of high school football at Faith Lutheran High in Las Vegas before enrolling at the University of San Diego, an FCS program that does not offer athletic scholarships. Despite this, Kincaid quickly made a name for himself as a pass-catching threat, recording 68 receptions for 1,209 yards and 19 touchdowns over two seasons.

After his success at San Diego, Kincaid transferred to Utah for the 2020 season. He immediately made an impact, catching 43 passes for 526 yards and five touchdowns. Kincaid’s production only continued to improve in 2021, as he hauled in 64 receptions for 878 yards and 11 touchdowns. His impressive play has caught the attention of NFL scouts, who are now touting him as one of the top tight end prospects in the draft.

What sets Kincaid apart from other tight ends is his ability to create separation and make plays in the passing game. He is an “easy mover” who can “sink his hips and cut on a dime” to get open, according to Danny Kelly of The Ringer. Kincaid also possesses “top-tier body control” and has a knack for finding soft spots in zone coverage. He is equally effective against man coverage, using his speed to run away from defenders on crossers and seams.
Despite his success on the field, Kincaid remains humble and focused on improving his game. He credits his success to hard work and dedication, both on and off the field. Kincaid is also quick to recognize the contributions of his coaches and teammates, saying that he could not have achieved his success without their support.
