San Francisco 49ers’ defensive end Charles Omenihu walked off the field, under his own power, in the second quarter of the playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday. He was soon out of the tent, on the bench and going over plays on the tablet with D-line coach Kris Kocurek.

In the first quarter, San Francisco’s outside linebacker Keaundre “Dre” Greenlaw left the field briefly.

Soon after Omenihu left, Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker outran Dre Greenlaw to the end zone. Several fans on social media trolled the linebacker for his sloppy play.

“Dre Greenlaw is an all pro. He gotta wake up for this game tho. Time to prove his worth,” a Twitter user said.

“This is a horrible angle from Greenlaw, but that was a sloppy drive from the #49ers defense in more ways than just that play. Seattle’s offense has a ton of talent. They will take advantage of mistakes,” another one added.

“Horrendous angle by Greenlaw,” a third Twitter user said.

“Terrible angle by Dre Greenlaw. But we wasnt gone pitch a shut out no way. Lets just keep the offense scoring,” another Twitter user said.

Seattle finished the first quarter with some momentum, with a 10-play, 57-yard drive in progress and pushing inside the San Francisco 30. The Seahawks have converted a pair of third downs to their star receivers, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

In the second quarter, Kenneth Walker’s 7-yard run around left end gives the Seahawks only their second touchdown in 23 possessions against the 4ers’ defense this season. It comes at a great time, preventing some early bleeding after San Francisco had taken a 10-0 lead and looked to be in full control.

However, the betting public has no additional faith in the Seahawks, as Seattle started the game as a 9.5 underdog. It is still listed at +9.5 points in live in-game betting, according to BetMGM.
