Who is Andy Reid?
Reid was born on March 19, 1958, in Los Angeles. He was a student at John Marshall High School and a teen vendor at Dodger Stadium. At the Lemon Grove Recreation Center in East Hollywood, he also participated in youth athletics, where Pete Arbogast served as one of his coaches. Arbogast was the radio play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Bengals and currently announces for the USC football team.
Reid started his coaching career as an offensive assistant for the Green Bay Packers, where he worked from 1992 to 1998 and won the Super Bowl in Super Bowl XXXI.
With the Eagles, when he served as head coach for the first time in 1999, they consistently advanced to the postseason. Reid guided the Eagles to nine postseason appearances, six division titles, five NFC Championship Games (including four straight from 2001 to 2004), and a Super Bowl XXXIX appearance.

Despite his success, Reid was unable to claim a Super Bowl championship, and he left Philadelphia in 2012 as the team’s fortunes were deteriorating.
Reid rescued the Chiefs’ ailing team by being appointed head coach in 2013. He assisted in breaking the 1993–2004 playoff losing streak of eight games. He has guided Kansas City to successful seasons in ten seasons, with eight playoff appearances, six division titles, five straight AFC Championship Games, two Super Bowl appearances, and a Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl LIV—the team’s first in 50 years and Reid’s first as head coach.
