The Cincinnati Bengals faced the Cleveland Browns in Monday Night Football in Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season. The visitors began the game underwhelmingly and were unable to score for the first three quarters, however, opened the account in the penultimate quarter, courtesy of a touchdown by wide receiver Tyler Boyd.
The 27-year-old scored from a 13-yard touchdown pass after connecting with quarterback Joe Burrow. The pass from Burrow was initially deflected by Cleveland Browns cornerback MJ Emerson, however, reached Tyler Boyd at the end, who converted the touchdown to score the first points for the Cincinnati Bengals in the game.

It was also the Cincinnati Bengals’ first points of the game. They were not allowed to score any points in the first three quarters by the Cleveland Browns. However, Boyd’s 13-yard touchdown helped the Bengals to open their accounts as they trailed 25-6.
The touchdown took place when Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow found Tyler Boyd near the endzone. He made a 13-yard pass, which was deflected by Browns cornerback MJ Emerson, who could not make a pick. The ball reached Boyd and he did not waste any time before converting the touchdown. However, the Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson could not score the extra point following the touchdown.

Meanwhile, he has also recorded 29 receptions out of 38 targets for 455 yards, 3 receiving touchdowns and 20 first downs in the season so far.
The Bengals came into the match as they occupied the second spot in the AFC North table, following the Baltimore Ravens in the top spot. Their opponents in the game, Cleveland Browns were in the third spot, followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers at the bottom. The Bengals have won four games and lost three games so far this season and look close to registering another loss against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night, October 31.
