The New Orleans Saints travelled to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season in Thursday Night Football. Their starting quarterback, Andy Dalton, suffered a back injury in the previous week, however, came back in Week 7 to face the Cardinals. Dalton began the game with a marvellous 53-yards rushing touchdown by Rashid Shaheed that caught the eyes of many.

Andy Dalton began the game with a long pass to wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, who converted the touchdown. It also helped the visitors to lead the game 7-0 in the first quarter, helping the New Orleans Saints to begin the game on a strong note.

The 24-year-old also became the first player in the history of the New Orleans Saints to score a touchdown on his first two career touches. The first touch saw him score a 44-yard rushing touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals, which was followed by a 53-yards rushing touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7 in Thursday Night Football.

This was also a career milestone for Shaheed, who suffered an ACL tear last year when he was playing for Weber State, which resulted in him remaining undrafted in the NFL. However, the Saints paid him a $222,000 deal as a free agent later.
