Doncic, who was chosen third overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by Atlanta before being traded to the Mavericks, has experienced highs and lows with his club this season.
Early in February, the Mavericks, who were in fifth place in the Western Conference, made a trade for Kyrie Irving in an effort to make a run in the second half.
