Deebo Samuel scored a touchdown against the Chicago Bears as the team leads 7-0 in the second quarter. The match is being at Soldier Field, the home stadium of the Bears.

 Deebo Samuel is an American football player who is currently signed to the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He plays the Wide-receiver position. He was drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Samuel was born on  January 15, 1996, in Inmam city of South Carolina. He went to Chapman High School and played high school football there. He finished his school career with a total of 53 touchdowns, 94 tackles, and 12 interceptions. He was named High School Sports Report Class AAA Offensive Player of the Year for his senior season. He committed to play college football at the University of South Carolina’s Gamecocks football team.

In 2014, Samuel redshirted as a true freshman. Samuel appeared in five games, making three starts and battling injuries. Samuel had 12 receptions for 161 yards on the season. Samuel appeared in 10 games as a sophomore and led the team with 59 receptions for 783 yards. He also rushed 15 times for 98 yards and six touchdowns. Samuel finished his junior season with 250 yards receiving for three touchdowns, two carries for 30 yards and a touchdown, and two kickoff returns for two touchdowns for a total of 194 yards despite only playing three full games. This was due to a right leg injury he suffered against Kentucky, in week 3 that year. Samuel returned for his senior year, finishing with 882 yards and 11 touchdowns.

NFL Career:-

The San Francisco 49ers selected Samuel in the second round (36th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. On July 25, 2019, he signed a four-year contract with the 49ers.

Deebo Samuel made his NFL debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, catching three passes for 17 yards and fumbling in a 31-17 road win. The San Francisco 49ers reached the Super Bowl final in 2019. During their 31-20 loss in the Super Bowl,  Samuel rushed twice for 53 yards and caught five passes for 39 yards. His 53 rushing yards were the most ever by a wide receiver in a Super Bowl.

Next season, Samuel was placed on the non-football injury list on July 28, 2020, at the start of training camp. On October 3, he was activated. Samuel finished the 2020 season with 33 receptions for 391 yards and one touchdown reception.

Over the course of the 2021 season, the 49ers increasingly lined Samuel up in the backfield like a running back to capitalize on his play-making ability. Samuel was chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2021. He also holds the record for the most rushing touchdowns by a wide receiver in a single season in NFL history, with 8, which he set this season.
