Apple Far Out Event 2022: iPhone 14 price in India

The new series of iPhones are set to hit the market following the Apple Far-Out event on Thursday, September 7, 2022. With the launch in mind, the price of the previous generation iPhones has gone down by almost INR 10,000 across all major retail chains in India, both online and offline.

Along with the next generation iPhones, Apple is also expected to launch the Apple Watch 2 and the Airpods Pro 2. The Apple Far-Out event will be live telecast from the firm’s Cupertino campus from 10:30 PM IST. Enthusiasts can watch it online on Apple’s official website.

Ahead of the launch of the next generation iPhones, speculations are rife about its specs and price in India. Although the actual price of the iPhones will be revealed only after the event, a leak on a Chinese website has some leads for those who can’t stand the long wait. 

According to the Chinese website Leakster, Apple is set to launch four new iPhones in 2022 – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Here are the leaked prices of the four upcoming models in India. 

iPhone 14

The base variant of the new iPhone 14 will cost INR 77,112 while the 256 GB variant will come at a cost of INR 85,169. Another variant with 512 GB of storage will be available for INR 1,08,817.

iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus is next in the series of the new iPhones after the basic iPhone 14. The starting price for this device is expected to be around INR 85,219 for the 128 GB variant while the 256 GB model will be priced at INR 93,297. The final variant in this series is a 512 GB model which will be priced at INR 1,04, 817.

iPhone 14 Pro

The iPhone 14 Pro is expected to come in three variants. The base variant with 256 GB of storage is expected to cost INR 1,14,011 while the 512 GB and 1 TB storage variants will come for INR 1,31,284 and INR 1,49,711 respectively.

iPhone 14 Pro Max

The iPhone 14 Pro Max is the model with the highest specs in the new iPhone series. The base variant in this series will have a storage of 256 GB and will be priced at INR 1,25,525. The 512 GB variant will be available for INR 1,42,801 and the 1 TB model will come at a price of INR 1,60,005.

The leak also suggests that all the models in the latest Apple iPhone 14 series will have the A16 Bionic chip (5 nm).
