Xbox Series X and Series S will hit the markets on November 10 but the video game has already created a buzz at the retail market as the stores stand sold out on the first day of the pre-order period.

The demand of XBox hit the roofs when stores like Walmart, Amazon and Target among others declared an out of stock on Tuesday. Consumers bought the Series X for $499 and Series S for $299.

“Preorders have sold out. Check back on release date,” a message on Target’s website read.

Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy showed messages like ‘out of stock’, ‘currently unavailable’ and ‘coming soon’, respectively.

However, pre-ordering the console wasn’t exactly a cake walk for the consumers as social media demonstrated the issues faced by the buyers. Some users reported issues like pages not working and orders disappearing from carts.

The All Access Program by Microsoft offered pre-ordering of both the series and a two years worth Game Pass Ultimate for $24.99 per month. The pre-orders opened at 11 am ET in the US.
