Newsmax commentator Dick Morris slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for indicting former President Donald Trump.

On Saturday’s episode of Dick Morris democracy, he said “Alvin Bragg, how dare you indict a former President of the United States of America.” Morris said Alvin Bragg demeaned George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln by indicting Trump.

Morris received a lot of criticism and trolling for his comments. Here’s what the users on Twitter said:

“Dick Morris is evidently attracting attention on Twitter,” a user said.

“How DARE you  ignore the crimes committed by trump. How DARE you make statements not knowing what the 34 indictments include! How dare YOU to use his presidency as an excuse not to prosecute. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. How DARE you equate trump with Lincoln. Blasphemy!” another user wrote.

“How dare DICK Morris & NewsMax cry like whiny little b*tches over Alvin Bragg doing his job diminishing the Office of the Presidency instead of pitching a fit over TFG committing the crimes that led to this?” a user said.

Former President Donald Trump is expected to be arraigned in Manhattan criminal court next Tuesday. He faces more than 30 counts related to business fraud in the indictment.

The Manhattan district attorney started its investigation when Trump was still in the White House. The investigation was related to a payment of $130,000 made by Trump’s then-personal attorney Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels in October 2016, days before the presidential election, to silence her from going public about an alleged affair with Trump a decade earlier. He allegedly recorded the payment as a business expense.  However, Trump has denied the affair and any wrongdoing.

On Tuesday, Trump will have his fingerprints and a mugshot recorded, and be brought before a judge.
