A viral video showed seven black bears taking over the pool and tennis court on a property based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Michelle Johnson uploaded the video of May 26 saying she and her friends were safely outside the pool area.
As the bears were swimming in the pool and jumping on gates, she and her friends quietly observed and recorded their movement.

In her caption, she said that “Black bears in the Great Smoky Mountains are beautiful but please be respectful, keep your distance, and don’t feed them”.

The Great Smoky Mountains are located along the Tennessee-North Carolina border in the southeastern United States.

According to biologists estimates, over 1500 black bears are present in the National Park located in the mountains.
“At this number, this creates a population density of two bears per square mile”, read the park’s website.
