According to officials, at least four people were killed and at least eight more were injured in a shooting at a bank in downtown Louisville. A man named Caleb Goodlett received a phone call from his wife alerting him to the shooter from inside the bank.

Who is Caleb Goodlett?
Caleb Goodlett, a man from Louisville stated that at 8:30 a.m., he received a phone call from his wife, who works at Old National Bank branch downtown. According to CBS, she was calling from inside a vault and told him there was a gunman at the bank.
According to authorities, the accused gunman was also killed.
According to Louisville Metro Police Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey, the gunman previously worked at the bank. Humphrey said it was not clear whether the gunman was killed by responding officers or died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to Goodlett, his wife asked that he contact the police. When he dialed 911, he was informed that police were already on the scene.
On Monday morning, Hagan Curd was walking his dog on East Main Street when he noticed people racing in his general area. He recorded footage at the scene, and you can hear multiple gunshots.
The incident occurred before the Old National Bank in Louisville, which advertises its hours as 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bank has more than 250 banking locations throughout the Midwest and has dual headquarters in Evansville, Indiana and Chicago.

According to the 2020 Census, the Louisville metro region, which is situated along Kentucky’s border with Indiana, was home to about 630,000 people. The minor league baseball stadium Louisville Slugger Field borders the 300 block of East Main Street to the east. Businesses in this area include a dentist’s office, a furniture store, and the Louisville Ballet.
