Samaritan is an Amazon Prime movie that stars Sylvester Stallone in the leading role. The story centers around a teenager called Sam Cleary and his neighbour, Mr. Smith (Stallone). The youngster is of the opinion that Mr. Smith is a superhero hiding in plain sight. 

We later get to know that the city in which these two live, Granite City, indeed had a superhero 20 years back who is believed to have died while fighting his arch-rival, Nemesis. Whether Stallone himself is the superhero is what the film reveals.

Stallone is a Hollywood icon who burst onto the scene after writing the screenplay of and playing the lead character in the 1976 sports drama, Rocky. The film later spun five sequels and two spinoff movies (starring Michael B. Jordan). Two more spinoff movies are in the works.

Another notable franchise that Stallone has been a part of is the Rambo series. The first film of the series, First Blood, was released in 1982. The story centers around the eponymous character, a Vietnam War veteran, who falls on the wrong side of the law after getting into trouble with a small-town sheriff. 

Besides these successful franchises, Stallone has also acted in a number of iconic action movies, including Cliffhanger, Tango and Clash, and Cobra. He was nominated for the Academy Award for the Best Actor category on three different occasions.
