Baltimore Ravens‘ kicker Justin Tucker had a chance to win the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but he missed it as the game ended 28-27 for the home side. The game was played at the TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville.

Tucker missed the final kick of the game, a 67-yard Field Goal attempt that dropped just short of the opposing goal post.

The player holds the NFL record for the longest field goal made in NFL history. He kicked a 66-yard field goal against the Detroit Lions in 2021. He is also regarded as the most accurate kicker in league history.

Among all the kickers who have kicked at least 20 field goal attempts, Tucker has the fourth-best percentage with 90.8% in 22 kicks. He has made 20 kicks this season, the longest one being 56 yards. The only two kicks that he has been unable to make are of above 50 yards. 

With four minutes remaining and a one-point deficit, Lamar Jackson converted a second-and-20 with his best pass of the season. He completed a 62-yard pass to wide receiver DeSean Jackson, 35, who had gotten behind two defenders. Jackson then completed the drive by hitting Josh Oliver for a 12-yard touchdown pass, his first since Nov. 7.

The Ravens have now lost three games in a row when leading by multiple scores in the fourth quarter, which is tied for the most in an NFL season.

With 14 seconds remaining,  in the game, Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars to a game-winning touchdown drive and two-point conversion. This is the third game in a row in which he has completed more than 70% of his passes and has a passer rating above 100, the first time in his two-year career.

Baltimore Ravens take on Denver Broncos next week.
