Jalen Hurts scored the first touchdown for the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL 2022. He hauled for a 1-yarder to complete a 13-yard-play and had a 82-yard drive that lasted for 7:55 minutes.
The Philadephia Eagles lead the Detroit Lions 14-7 in the second quarter.

Hurts now has the most rushing TDs among quarterbacks since the start of the last season. The 24-year-old has 11 and is followed by Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen (7) and Tennessee Titans’ Ryan Tannehill (7).
Jalen Hurts ran for 35 yards in the Eagles first drive. But he was 0-5 in incompletions. The drive ended with an incomplete pass to A.J. Brown on 4th-and-5 from the Lions’ 40.
With 5:51 remaining in the first quarter, Hurts connected with Brown for 10 yards to the Eagles 23-yard line. With 2:13 remaining, Brown caught a Hurts pass for 18-yards to secure a first down.

Jalen Hurts finished the first quarter with six carries for total yards 5-10 passing for another 61 yards.
A lot is expected from the former second-round pick of the 2020 draft this season. The Team plays in the NFC East, where many analysts have predicted the Dallas Cowboys to win the division.

Hurts played in 15 games last season as the Eagles made the playoffs after the team had an 8-7 record. He completed just 23 out of the 43 passes in the game and had 1 TD and 2 interceptions to his name.
