The Los Angeles Rams were defeated at home by Buffalo Bills in a one-sided affair by a score of 31-10 in the NFL season opener on Thursday night. The reigning Super Bowl Champs seemed very off offensively from the get-go.

The Bills were led by an inspired play from QB Josh Allen and co in the entire game as they held their opponents to zero points in the second half.

Let’s look at the poor performers in Week 1: –

1) Matthew Stafford (QB, Los Angeles Rams): – Stafford received a contract extension this past off-season and was looking to make a positive statement in front of his home fans. It turned out to be the absolute opposite as he had just one touchdown but passed the ball three times for interceptions. He finished the game with 29/41 with 240 yards, 1 TD and 3 int.

2) Cam Akers (WR, Los Angeles Rams): – Fantasy football team managers drafted Akers RB1 for the team and expected the player to play a huge part in the team’s opening match. The player however did not get trusted with the ball much as he had just three carries for the game for zero yards.

3) Rams Defence: – The Rams defense could not stop the Josh Allen-led Bills offence from scoring in the second half. They were outplayed 21-0 during that time. Rams might be affected by the loss of Von Miller to the Bills in the offseason. 5-time Pro Bowler, Jalen Ramsey also was unable to hold the offense of the Bills and ended the game with just 6 tackles.

4) Allen Robinson (WR, Los Angeles Rams): – The WR was a complete no-show in the season’s opener. He only received one ball and ran for 12 yards for zero touchdowns in the game.

5) Dawson Knox (TE, Buffalo Bills): – The player did not have a good game even though his team won by a huge margin. He could only catch a single ball the whole game and ran for just 5 yards with it.

6) Devin Singletary ( Rb, Buffalo Bills): – This running back had a similar kind of game to Knox as he was given two balls by Josh Allen. He ran for 14 yards without a touchdown.
