- Osama bin Laden's niece, Noor, publicly praises US lawmakers defending Captiol Hill rioters

Noor bin Laden, Osama bin Laden’s niece publicly praised Representatives Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Republican Senator Ron Johnson for their parts in defending rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
The 35-year-old spoke to Steve Bannon on ‘Real America’s Voice, saying the mob charged for the attack on the US Capitol are “patriots that are being smeared and crushed by the media, by the Department of Justice (DoJ)”. Noor bin Laden further added they’re “political prisoners” who are being unjustly treated.

The niece of the man behind the 9/11 Twin Towers terrorist attack also wrote in a document that came out on her site, saying, “The subsequent crackdown on the Jan. 6 protesters by U.S. security services, the physical abuse of arrested protesters, and the surveillance and intimidation of their political supporters throughout the United States, all constitute a massive violation of UN human rights norms”, Newsweek reported.
Noor bin Laden also said, “This is traitor level, in my opinion, that those who are supposed to represent the citizens are failing”, and then went on to praise Georgia representative Greene and Florida’s Gaetz, apart from Johnson, for remaining on the side of the rioters.

“We can be really grateful for representatives—you know, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Gaetz and Ron Johnson amongst the handful who are defending and standing up and speaking about these political prisoners”, Osama bin Laden’s niece said.
Notably, all three US lawmakers have refused to label the January 6 riots as an insurrection, while also questioning the integrity of the 2020 election, which Republican candidate Donald Trump said was stolen from him after Democrat Joe Biden won.
Noor bin Laden seems to hold the same opinion since she wrote on her site that there’s “no consensus on the U.S. 2020 elections has yet emerged, either domestically or internationally among recognized election monitors”, adding “We know on which side real Americans are”.

Noor bin Laden has long been a Trump supporter and in her first-ever interview in 2020, with the New York Post, Osama’s niece urged Americans to vote for Trump, who she believed could prevent another 9/11. In 2021, she was seen waving a “Trump won” flag on Lake Geneva, Switzerland, protesting the summit between US President Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
