W,0, 1, W, 0, W: Hazlewood delivers fiery over for Australia vs Sri Lanka

Australia’s Josh Hazlewood delivered a three-wicket over against Sri Lanka in the first T20I at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Tuesday. The pacer finished with his career-best figures of 4/16 in four overs.

Riding on Hazlewood’s brilliant spell, Aaron Finch and co managed to dismiss Sri Lanka for 128 after they were going strong at 10/2 at the 12-over point.
The 31-year-old was intoduced in the second over. He gave away two runs in his first six balls. He then got a well’set Gunathilaka’s wicket in his second. After a break in his spell, Hazlewood was back into the attack in the 14th.

13.1: The tall pacer started with a back of a length delivery that Kusal Mendis tried to pull only to top-edge. Ashton Agar took a catch at cover.
13.2: The pacer then beat Asalanka outside off.
13.3: The Sri Lankan batter then flat-batted Hazlewood for a single to mid-off.
13.4: Bhanuka Rajapaksha was on strike. The bowler went with a good length delivery slanted away from over the wicket. The batter tried to run it down to third man with an open face but nicked it to Matthew Wade.
13.5: Shanakano couldnt take a run off a back of a length delivery.
13.6: Josh Hazlewood completed the over by catching Shanaka before the stumps as he tried to walk right across and clip his back of a length delivery.
