Two Instagram influencers from Bali, Josh paler Lin and Leia Se (Lisha), are facing backlash online, after a video of Se having a blue surgical mask painted on her face to enter the supermarket in Bali went viral recently. With the world battling the COVID-19 pandemic, netizens did not appreciate the act, and slammed the duo.
In the viral video, Lin and Se are seen trying to enter a supermarket, with Leia being turned down by the security guard for not wearing a mask. The couple, thereafter, are seen returning to their car and painting the blue surgical mask, which resembles an actual one.
Lin is also heard saying in the video, “Did you notice like no one’s is actually looking at you?” to Se.
Although the duo has removed the video from their social media accounts, the video has gone on various platform and both are being criticised online for their prank.
