Making the start of Eid al Adha celebrations, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world’s tallest tower, was lit up with the message Eid Takbeer (Allah is the greatest) on Friday. The light show will continue every day until Sunday after the Isha prayers. The Arab nations are celebrating Eid on Friday.

The country is also featuring musical fountains to celebrate the Eid from July 29 to August 2  at the Dubai Fountain.

However, mosques and Eid Musallahs (open-air prayer spaces) across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not have the special Eid al Adha prayers as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19.
