Fresh Express Incorporated is officially recalling a select number of three types of already-expired branded and private label salad kit items produced at the company’s Morrow, Georgia location owing to a potential health concern.
A small batch of three different salad kit products has been pulled by the manufacturer due to possible Listeria Monocytogene contamination. Consuming the impacted items puts your health in danger for numerous health issues and serious to fatal diseases.
The company realized that a random sample test of a single salad kit gathered by the Georgia Department of Agriculture tested positive for the virus, prompting the voluntary recall, which was announced on April 7, 2023.
While listeria infection may lead to high fevers, terrible headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhea in healthy people, it can also result in miscarriages and stillbirths in women who are expecting. Customers who have these indications should speak with their doctor.
All of the canceled salad products have the Product Code GO75 on the outside of their packaging. Retailers throughout the states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia sold them.

The company decided to recall its items because the tested sample had a Use-By Date of March 31, 2023. There are no longer any sales of the recalled goods, and no cases of illness have yet been identified by the company or the United States Food and Drug Administration
Consumers are cautioned not to eat any salad kits that may have been purchased and may still be in their refrigerator. A closed bin must be used for the safe disposal of the impacted product. Additionally, the corporation is advising retailers to get rid of all of their supplies of recalled goods.
