Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Uma Bharti has reached Ayodhya for the Ram temple bhumi pujan ceremony. The former Union minister, who had been associated with the Ram mandir movement since beginning, said that Ayodhya has sent a special message to the world that of unity.

“Ayodhya has united everyone. Now, this country can proudly declare that there is no discrimination here,” news agency ANI quoted Uma Bharti, as saying.

The former Madhya Pradesh CM is in Ayodhya for the mega ceremony, however, she will visit the Ram Janmabhoomi only after PM Modi lays the foundation stone of the grand Ram temple in view of the coronavirus pandemic.

“I will leave Bhopal today and on the way I might come in contact with a coronavirus infected person. Taking this into account, I will keep a distance from the place where @narendramodi and hundreds of others will be present,” she had tweeted earlier this week.

Talking to reporters in Ujjain on Monday said that Lord Ram was nobody’s ‘property’, adding that the deity belonged to everybody.
