“Keep the faith, we’re gonna win this,” Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said in his brief appearance in Pennsylvania on election night, as the results and trends seemed evenly poised with Trump winning more states but Biden ahead in electoral college.
“Your patience is commendable, we knew this was going long… we feel good about where we are, we believe we are on track to win this election,” the 77-year-old former vice-president said.
Referring to the states where he and Donald Trump are in a neck-and-neck race, Biden said, “We are confident about Arizona, Minnesota, still in the game in Georgia, we are going to win Pennsylvania.”
Thanking poll workers and volunteers, Biden said “keep the faith, we are going to win”.
Joe Biden is ahead in electoral college with 213 votes with Trump’s 174. The winner needs to win at least 270. Trump has already won the key state of Florida after a tight race and is marginally ahead in Texas.

According to Edinson’s national exit poll, Donald Trump has gained support among the older Latinos by 11 points, and among Black voters between 30 and 44 by 15 points. His popularity among older white voters has declined by about 3 points.
