Popular Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar died on October 29 after suffering a heart attack. The 46-year-old was rushed to hospital around 11:30 am but could not be revived.

A minister from Karnataka confirmed the news of Puneeth’s demise to PTI and said, “He had accomplished immensely from an early age. It is difficult to believe that he, who has always been backbone of constructive programmes, is no more,”
Puneeth’s last tweet was posted at 7:33 am on October 29, a few hours before he suffered a heart attack. The tweet read, “Best wishes for the entire team of #Bhajarangi2. @NimmaShivanna @NimmaAHarsha @JayannaFilms “
Security at the hospital and the actor’s home has been intensified.

The official handle of IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore remembered the actor for his contributions to the cinema industry.
Abhishek Bachchan sent his condolences to the star’s family and said that the actor left too soon.
Shreya Ghoshal was devastated to hear the news of Puneeth’s demise. She expressed her sadness for the star leaving the face of the earth at the ‘pinnacle of his life’.
A fan remembered the good work Puneeth did during his lifetime, such as building schools, orphanages, old age homes, donating organs and providing education to students.
A user posted a video of the star greeting those around him with a cute gesture of raising his eyebrows with a smile in a warm and respectful manner.
Dalquer Salmaan asked the almighty to give strength to Puneeth’s friends, family and fans to cope with this irreplaceable loss.
Puneeth appeared in several films during his lifetime and was well known for hosting the Kannada version of the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
