Cricketer Virat Kohli and global film icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Wednesday became the only Indian celebrities to make it to the  Instagram Rich List 2021. This ranking is released every year by HopperHQ, which is a planning and scheduling tool for social media apps. Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who is also a big-time social media sensation, appeared at the top of the chart.

Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team skipper, is the only Indian who was in the top 20 of the list. He was placed on the 19th spot.

According to HopperHQ, Virat Kohli charges up to $680,000 for each Instagram post. This amounts to nearly Rs 5 crore per post. Virat has 132 million followers on Instagram.

Virat’s Instagram presence saw a huge upgrade in this year’s IG list. Last year, he secured 23rd position. 

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, with an Instagram follower base of 65 million, secured the 27th spot in the 2021 list. She reportedly gets $403,000 ( around Rs 3 crore) for every promotional post she makes on the app.

In total, HopperHQ’s Instagram Rich List has 395 celebrities, which includes sports stars and influencers. The topper of the list is Cristiano Ronaldo. According to HopperHQ, he charges $1,523,000 per Instagram post. Last year, the slot was taken by wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. This time, he is in second place with an Instagram value of about $1,523,000.

The others in the list are Ariana Grande, Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Lionel Messi, Beyonce, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
