A video of ‘Late Night’ show host David Letterman sucking on Jennifer Aniston’s hair during a 1998 interview has been doing the rounds. Amidst the speculations of the media’s treatment of Britney Spears during the peak of her career after the release of the New York Times’ documentary ‘Framing Britney Spears’, other such incidents of media callousness are coming out too.

The ‘FRIENDS’ actor appeared on the show where she was interviewed by Letterman. Although the interview had begun well, it started getting uncomfortable when Letterman asked her if she was naked in her story where she was telling him that she had met some fans in the steam room.

However, that was not the end of it. At one point during the interview, he halted the conversation as he scooted behind Aniston’s seat, picked up a few strands of her hair, and put it in his mouth. Before doing so he also said “Forgive me if this is rude”.

The ‘FRIENDS’ actor was startled and asked him what he was doing. But he did not answer. Instead, he kept sucking on her hair until it felt out of his mouth. Later, he added that it had something to do with her steam room story.

Aniston also said that it was something she would never forget and when asked why she was looking traumatised for some time after that, she replied that she was indeed traumatised.

Only last week, Letterman’s interview with Lindsay Lohan also went viral over the insensitive questions that were asked to her on the show.
