The cops found Haddish snoozing in the driver seat while responding to a call for a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel. The person who reported the incident also provided the police with a description of the vehicle, and the police stopped Haddish as she was pulling into a neighbourhood.
The comedian, who police believe was under the influence of marijuana, reportedly smiled as the police took her mugshot and took her into custody.
However, the comedian was not in police custody for long and reportedly left a little over an hour later after posting $1,666 to bond out of jail.
TMZ has reported that Haddish suffered great personal losses recently, including the death of her grandmother who raised her, as well as the death of her dog. Her friends, comedian Bob Saget and producer Carl Craig also passed away recently, adding to her sense of loss.
