Jake Paul has revealed his next opponent. The YouTube star-turned-boxer announced that he will fight Tommy Fury on December 18 in Tampa, Florida, at the Amalie Arena and will be shown on Showtime.

“Pucker up Timmy, it’s time to kiss ur last name and ur family’s boxing legacy goodbye. DEC 18th Im changing this w****** name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady,” Paul tweeted on Friday. 

Tommy Fury is the younger brother of WBC and Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who recently beat Deontay Wilder by knockout.

Paul has a perfect 4-0 record with three knockouts. “The Problem Child” will be fighting for the third time this year. Earlier in the year, he overcame Woodley and Ben Askren.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Tommy Fury is 7-0 with four knockouts to his credit. Already this year he has defeated Anthony Taylor, Jordan Grant and Scott Williams. His fight against Paul would be his fourth of the year.

After beating Taylor, Fury called out Paul.

“Jake Paul should have an easy night. So he’s got no excuse for not taking the fight? Let’s get it on Jake Paul. I’ve done my bit. You do your bit tonight and we’ll get it on,” Fury said, Fox News reported.

Asked whether he thought he did enough to earn a fight against Paul, Fury said, “I mean it should be easy enough for him, like I said. I went four rounds with his sparring partner … Jump in the ring. It should be no test at all.”

Paul’s boxing career began when he and his older brother Logan faced another YouTuber brother duo, England’s KSI and Deji Olatunji. Jake won the white-collar boxing battle against Deji with a technical knockout, while Logan and KSI boxed to a majority tie.

Paul has gone 3-0 (all KOs) since then, but his staff deserves credit for the matchmaking.
