Russia on Friday denied attacking a Kramatorsk train station in Ukraine, which killed at least 30. Moscow said that Kyiv’s allegations were ‘absolutely false’ after President Volodymyr Zelensky described Russia as an “evil with no limits.”
“The inhuman Russians are not changing their methods. Without the strength or courage to stand up to us on the battlefield, they are cynically destroying the civilian population,” the president said.

Hundreds were injured after two Russian rockets caused an explosion at the Kramatorsk train station.
Zelenskyy accompanied a social media post with photos that showed a train car with smashed windows, abandoned luggage and bodies lying in what looked like an outdoor waiting area. Authorities said the strike wounded more than 100 people.
Thousands of people were at the station at the time of the explosion, governor of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko said.
“The Rashists [Russian fascists] knew very well where they were aiming and what they wanted: they wanted to sow panic and fear, they wanted to take as many civilians as possible,” he said.
The governor also published a photo of the incident.

“This is a deliberate attack on the passenger infrastructure of the railway and the residents of Kramatorsk,” the head of Ukraine’s railway company, Alexander Kamyshin, wrote on social media.
As per Kamyshin, three trains carrying evacuees were blocked in the same region of Ukraine on Thursday after an airstrike. The officials further added that the Russian troops plan to capture territory in Donbas.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials warned residents this week to leave as soon as possible for safer parts of the country and said they and Russia had agreed to establish multiple evacuation routes in the east. Kramatorsk is located in government-controlled territory.
