Famously known through her father, Naomi wanted
to build an identity of her own, which was a struggle in itself. She would often
joke that she has her father’s nose, and that is enough, let alone having his job
as well. Years later, Naomi finally agreed to follow her father’s footsteps and went to
seminary to serve as an ordained minister.

Before becoming a priest, she spent many years
working in the consultancy, education, and activist fields.

The 60-year-old
reverend has taught at various American universities and colleges including University of
Connecticut, Brevard College in North Carolina, and the University of Hartford.

public speaker and orator since her university days. Ever since then, Naomi has
been invited to numerous colleges, universities, churches and community groups
as a speaker, to share her apartheid experience in South Africa, and preach.

Back in October 2021, Naomi was
invited as a guest speaker for a webinar by Hendricks Chapel in Syracuse. Naomi
discussed spiritual healing and hope along with the dean of the chapel, Brian
Konkol.

Naomi lives in the United
States. She currently is a single mother of three kids, and the Associate
Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills, California.
