Lopez and Rodriguez made their first red carpet appearance at the Met Gala in May 2017 and got engaged in 2019. Former baseball star Alex proposed on a romantic getaway.
Lopez told Ellen DeGeneres in April that her future nuptials are “in a holding pattern like the rest of the world.”
She said on the show, “Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. It’s just something we’re going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”
The ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ singer later revealed in December that she had doubts about walking down the aisle on Andy Cohen’s radio show.
Lopez said, “I mean at our age, we’ve both been married before, it’s like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us? And it’s just, it comes down to like personal, like, what do you want to do? There’s definitely no rush though.”
There had been rumours about Alex cheating on Jennifer Lopez with Madison LeCroy. The reason behind the split is not known yet.
