Former US President Donald Trump launched a space on his website – more like a blog – dedicated to sharing his views and opinions, which resurfaced on Tuesday. This development comes a day ahead of Facebook Inc (FB.O) oversight board’s announcement on Trump’s indefinite suspension from the platform. The space, referred to as ‘Donald Trump’s desk’, is designed for the Republican leader to establish a one-way communication with his followers.

The blog features written statements from Trump since January 20. It also has a camera feature for the 45th President to make video statements. People can share Trump’s statements on Twitter and Facebook with the links provided on the posts.

Donald Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller took on Twitter to say that the new website is a great resource to find his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office. He, however, added, “this is not a new social media platform. We’ll have additional information coming on that front in the very near future.”

Trump was banned from Facebook after the January 6 insurrection of the US Capitol.
