A US passenger jumped out of a moving plane at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday and he was then rushed to a hospital, The Associated Press reported quoting authorities. The man has been taken into custody and was being treated for his injuries that are not life-threatening, officials said.
The man on United Express flight 5365, operated by SkyWest, unsuccessfully tried to breach the cockpit by pounding on the gate when the flight was pulling away from a gate after 7 pm, the airport officials said.

The man, then, successfully managed to open the service door and jumped onto the tarmac through the emergency slide, the officials said, the AP reported.
The flight, which was headed to Salt Lake City, then returned to its gate, the airport officials said.
The man had an altercation on board, CNN reported, before he took the step to get off the plane. No one aboard the plane was injured in the incident.
FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller on Saturday said that the agency is investigating the incident. It was the second disruption at the Los Angeles airport in two days, The AP reported.
The flight department for Salt Lake City on Friday evening and arrived early on Saturday morning, according to the flightaware.com website.
