Golden State Warriors have scripted history in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. The Western Conference champions maintained a 21-0 haul in the first half and became the dominant side.
The 21-0 run was split between the first and second quarters. While most points came in the second quarter, the score started to flip when the buzzer was about to go off. Stephen Curry had an important contribution.

The Golden State Warriors revived their chances of winning their seventh NBA champions title with the 21-0 haul, which gave the team a 37-22 lead on Thursday night.
The Warriors registered the biggest scoring gap in a Finals game in the last 50 years of the league, according to reports from CBS News. The previous high was a 20-0 run, which was also by the Golden State Warriors during the 2019 Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
The Boston Celtics had clinched early dominance in Game 6 of the finals. However, a slow response to a counter-attack and lack of support to forward players resulted in a point deficit. The Celtics had a 12-2 lead in the first quarter and added only four points in the last five minutes.
Moments before the third quarter of Game 6 ended, Jaylen Brown was the only Boston Celtics player who had crossed the 20-point mark. Al Horford had added 16 with 11 rebounds and one assist.

Jayson Tatum, who was expected to head the Celtics’ offensive in the finals, had scored 11 points by the end of the third quarter. He also added seven assists and three rebounds.
Golden State Warriors, on the other hand, did not just depend on one player. The scorecard was evenly split between Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole. Stephen Curry had 21 points at the end of the third quarter.
