Pradhyuman Maloo is a 32-year-old jewelry designer who was cast in Season 1 of the popular Netflix show Indian Matchmaking. He spent his early childhood in Kolkata and later settled in South Mumbai.
After obtaining a Post Graduation degree from Cass Business School, London, he entered his mother’s Mumbai-based jewelry business, Nornament.
Pradhyuman is very passionate about adventure sports, fashion, traveling, fine dining and horse riding. Apart from being a jewelry designer and businessman he is also a scuba diver and passionate about ocean conservation. He has experienced scuba diving in the Philippines, Egypt, Maldives, and Thailand. Pradhyuman also enjoys experimenting with dishes. His experimental dishes like Miso Paneer and Peri Peri Foxnuts went viral soon after the release of the show.

Pradhyman Maloo earned huge recognition from the show but he was stereotyped as bisexual and received various negative comments from audiences on his social media profile. In a post by the official account of Humans of Bombay, Maloo clarified the rumor about him and also spoke about the problematic nature of the assumptions and deep-seated mindset of Indian society.

Pradhyuman Maloo was extremely picky, rejecting many matches that Sima Taparia proposed to him throughout Season 1. Pradhyuman and model Rushali finally clicked together in the show. Their relationship didn’t last long after the show ended. He took to his Instagram to reveal about him being single and he also cited the reasons for his breakup. He said, “Long-distance didn’t allow us to explore our individual sides and communicate organically plus we were in different stages in our life so we decided to move on and yes we are still friends.”
Pradhyuman Maloo will be reappearing in Season 2 of Indian Matchmaking.
