Yuzvendra Chahal‘s wife, Dhanashree Verma, dropped her surname – Chahal – from her Instagram bio a day after the Indian cricketer posted a cryptic ‘new life loading’ message on social media.

Chahal and Verma got married in December 2021. The two posted pictures on Instagram, with a caption: “22.12.20. We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”. The couple is active on social media and keep posting pictures and videos, often with each other.

Chahal, who plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, on Wednesday shared a picture on his Instagram story with a message saying: “New Life Loading….”. The leg-spinner did not give any explanation or caption and social media users started speculating that he and Verma were expecting their first child.
“He’s having a baby,” one Twitter user wrote. “Baby child coming soon 🥳,” another one tweeted.
However, only hours later, Dhanashree Verma dropped her surname – Chahal – from her Instagram bio.
Now, there is chatter of them having problems in their marriage.
“Chahal,dhanushree divorce ?” a Twitter user questioned.
“chahal and dhanashree divorce kya?” another one added.
Neither Verma nor Chahal have said anything about the matter.

Talking about Yuzi’s love for cricket and the importance of balance in life, Verma, in June, had said on a Rajasthan Royals podcast: “Yuzi is a very happy person, to be very honest, and he loves cricket. His first love is cricket, so being in this environment around his fellow mates is the primary reason behind him smiling always and having a beautiful smile.”
“I believe you need to strike a balance. The environment, of course, is very warm and friendly, but it gets stressful. So, you have to keep up with it. So, because of that, Yuzi is Yuzi all the time,” she added.
